SPICY SARDINES ON A TOAST

Ingredients:

Tosta (3 pieces of bread)

Canned Sardines (3 pieces)

Ketchup (3 tablespoons)

Lettuce (spread)

Tomato (2 halves)

Sprockets (small handful)

Olive oil and balsamic (trickle in one on the salad)

Salt and pepper (to taste)

Paprika and Tabasco (3 drops of tabasco, 3 dashes of paprika)

Fresh chives

For the tomato sauce:

Add a handful of parsley in a blender. Cut the tomatoes into quarters and add to blender along with 2 minced garlic cloves. Add a generous amount of Extra Virgin Olive Oil Organic Farm Hacienda Zorita (5 tablespoons). Add salt and pepper generously. Mix for 2 minutes or until very soft and silky. Taste and adjust if necessary.

To toast:

Place 3 pieces of toast on a plate, forming a triangle. Put a tablespoon of ketchup and a complete sardine on each piece of toast. In the centre of 3 toast, put the lettuce, 2 tomato halves and a hint of pine. Add salt and pepper through the whole plate. Add the chives, paprika and a pinch of snuff 3 drops of each sardine. Drizzle olive oil over the dish artistically and balsamic reduction over the salad in the centre.
