Produced following the traditional method which has been used by Monistrol since 1882. Light maceration of the grapes with their skins to obtain a rose base wine, followed by secondary fermentation in the bottle. Suitable for vegans and vegetarians.
Delicate pink in colour. This cava has aromas and flavours of ripe wild strawberries. A crisp and clean rose cava with a delicate aftertaste. Excellent as an aperitif, with canapés, desserts, or as an accompaniment to any celebration.
Monistrol is one of the leading Cava producers having established cava making at the property in San Sadurni d’Anoia in 1882, in the heart of Penedès, 40km southwest from Barcelona. Since then quality has been the byword in the production of some of the best sparkling wines from Spain. Since 1882 our cavas are produced following the traditional method (same production method as champagne). Every year our cavas win international awards for their outstanding quality.
