Rioja Baja is where it all began.

Hacienda Marqués de la Concordia, an old sugar factory turned into a wine estate, is where we keep tradition alive while breaking new ground.

We fought for the experimental status in our vineyard, as it allows us to experiment with different grapes varieties. We are still the only vineyard in Rioja that does today.

This means our wines show a substantial Tempranillo backbone, but don’t have to be dominated by it… we allow some “international” grapes into our “creole” wines, which is what makes our wines exciting news in the generally conservative and chauvinist region of Rioja!

Marques de la Concordia Crianza 2015 – fresh, Young vintage

Marques de la Concordia Crianza 2004 in Magnums – amazing vintage and beautifully aged

Marques de la Concordia Reserva 2009 – best post war vintage

Marques de la Concordia Reserva 2003 in Jeroboams – 4 bottle size

Hacienda de Susar Rioja 2014 – our ‘experimental’ rioja

Alongside this cracking list of top rated wines, there will be Jamon Iberico Bellota Reserva, Cecina, Chorizo Dulce, Goats Cheese with Paprika, balsamic vinegar and extra virgin olive oil. Made on our organic farm we will also include current No.4 in the world >  Queso Curado de Oveja con Syrah at the World Cheese Contest in Wisconsin against 3,400 other cheeses from 26 countries…
