PRODUCTION METHOD
The Haciendas Rhum Company uses molasses of first quality. This is a triple aging rum. First aging starts at the British Caribbean beign there for 6 years, being 2 to 4 years in wine oaks at Ribera del Duero and finished in Pedro Ximenez oaks for 6 months in barrels in Montilla.
TASTING NOTES
It is a nice rum with a soft finish due to Pedro Ximenez finish. The notes of figs, raisins, cocoa, tobacco, coconut and almonds are appreciated in the tasting of the product. A rum that will surprise on the palate, to take alone or an ice rock in the glass.
